Every three years members come together to select Area Officers who will help lead and guide
North Carolina/Bermuda Al-Anon Family Groups. Each member’s voice and the Group
Representative’s (GR) vote matters. Participating in the election process is a valued service and
essential to our democratic thought and action. We are so fortunate to have this opportunity in
Al-Anon! The résumés of some AWSC members are included in the documents disseminated.
The North Carolina/Bermuda Policies and Practices Handbook can be downloaded from the
Area Website: NC.BDA Policies and Practices Handbook.pdf. The Election Assembly process is
found on pages 24-27 for your reference.
It continues to be an honor to serve.
