District 6 is currently able to receive 7th tradition contributions via Venmo good old fashioned checks, however we are embarking on a change! Please share with your group’s treasurers that we are transitioning away from using Venmo as of June 30, 2026.
Paper checks will remain a perfectly wonderful way to send in 7th tradition contributions. The new electronic option (instead of Venmo) is Zelle. Our Zelle account is already active and ready to receive – please search: district6area42
The attached “Info for Group Treasurer’s” sheet which reflects this change.
Please note that group treasurers are still welcome to use Venmo in their groups and each group / treasurer has autonomy there. It is only the 7th tradition contributions to District 6 that are affected by this change.
